Nathan Foley
Nathan Foley. The second cousin I get to highlight on Mastering Progress and the cousin who has always encourage me in my art and creativity. Nathan is a guitar prodigy and has blessed this world with his talent of musicality and insight into how we hear the world around us. Here is his story:
Tell us a little bit about yourself and your work?
I am a Christian, a husband, an artist, an entrepreneur, and a guitar player.
What is your biggest passion in life and how do you incorporate this into your work?
My biggest passion in life is my faith in Jesus, this informs the kind of vibration I intend on sending out into the world, it needs to be something that impacts the human existence in a relevant and necessary way.
How do you take care of your mental and physical health?
Going outside, exercising, relaxing, reading, deeply studying the things I'm interested in, and appreciating the time that I have on this earthly plane.
How do you keep yourself organized as a person who wears many hats in their life?
I immediately put everything I agree to into the calendar app and in general develop a system that is easily repeatable. I like to put things in the same place as much as possible if you dig what I mean.
What are some things you think are important for people in there early twenty's to learn?
Save for short term, save for long term, health insurance is dope, there's nothing wrong with having a full time job while you build your business up. Stay out of the streets if you are able. Keep your head down and make your moves without needing the approval of others.
What do you define success and prosperity as in your life?
Success to me is being able to express yourself accurately and in a way that others are able to understand. Prosperity to me is having food and shelter.
If you were given three things to make you happy for the rest of your life what would they be?
The Holy Bible, my beautiful wife Sheila, and several guitars.
How would you rank the following three: family, career, love life?
Love life, family, career
What legacy do you want to leave behind?
If you're not the smartest, you've got to at least work the hardest.
