The Perfect Fudgy Brownie

I hate chocolate. I do not like chocolate cake I'm not the biggest fan of chocolate bars but when it comes to a good fudgy brownie I am all for it. This past weekend I tried my hand at a very simple recipe that only took 45 minutes to complete and everyone has loved them!
What you need:
- 13x9 inch pan
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups of granulated sugar
- 3/4 cups 100% cocoa powder
- 1/2tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flower
How to do it:
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- Melt butter.
- In a large bowl mix together butter and cocoa powder.
- Mix in the sugar, salt, and vanilla (it will look grainy don't worry).
- Mix in the eggs one at a time (here it should smooth out)
- Mix in the flour.
- Spread the mixture into greased pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until no mixture comes of a fork when you stick it into the pan.
- Let the brownies sit for another 20 minutes and then cute and serve.
Tips:
- melt the butter in a pan on low heat for some reason it tastes better than nuking it in the microwave.
- use butter to grease the pan instead of a spray it works just as effectively and keeps the brownies from tasting fake.
- Ghirardelli has the best cocoa powder and keeps from making the brownies too sweet.
- when your cutting the brownies use a hot knife so that it does not stick to the brownies and you have a cleaner cut.
