Salem MA is known for it's witchy history but I have come to find out it really should be know as a foodie destination. Ledger is located in one of Salem's historic buildings as a rehabed bank. They kept alot of the older fixtures including the bank teller gates and vault doors but added their own modern touch to it so that you get the best of both worlds!

Ledger is the perfect spot for drinks with friends, their cocktail list is out of this world. I tried a new rose called "Bugey-Cerdon"  which was the perfect dry rose a girl could ask for. Also had a delisious cocktail called the "Living Dead Girl"  with rum and cinnamon and grapefruit which was perfectly refreshing. I definitely emobodied this deink once the food came out becasue it was to die for. I had the steak tartar  with a delkicious horseradish and kettle chips. Then fresh from the ocean (if you did not know Salem is right on teh water) oysters  and a spicycocktail sauce. For my main course I ordered the Braised Short Rib Pasta...

It was phenomanal, the creaminess of the riccotta and the flavor from the herbs and slow cooked ribs was heaven on earth.

Overall I was satisfied with my vvisit to ledger and highly suggest if you ever make a stop in Salem MA to make sure you visit!
