RR: Trifecta

You know when girl’s night rolls around and nowhere know where to go and yet you want to go everywhere. That was the situation for my friends and I a couple of weeks ago until one of them suggested we go to Trifecta a new bar at the bottom of the four seasons hotel. Well, here is my official restaurant review of the new “hip” place in Boston!

Location/Decor

The pictures do fool you a little bit into thinking the space is a bit bigger than it is. But the pictures do not fool you in concerns to how beautiful and stunning the place is. There is a huge chandelier and big comfy sits for guest to enjoy. The bar is beautifully decorated in gold and marble and low lighting to really set an ambiance of luxury! It was stunning and gave me ideas for my dream home bar!

The Food

There were many options from seafood including salmon and lobster rolls and to be honest that is all I can remember about the food menu. Nothing super notable and when the server showed us the portions sizes for everything I was simply not impressed. In the end we decided to go with the classic charcuterie board and you really can’t go wrong with that. Like the other food options the portions were abnormally small but the cheese choices were delicious, and the fresh fruit and grain crackers were a perfect touch.

The Drink

I loved the creativity they had with their drink menu. All the cocktails were named after landmarks and Boston history. I chose the arabesque which was made in honor of the arts district and the Boston Opera House and the amount of creativity sprouting from Boston’s residents. It contains champagne, gin, and crème de Pamplemousses italic us. It was strong and superb. Fresh and airy just like watching a ballerina float across the stage it even helped to have the single flower petal dancing on top!

Overall Experience

With all this location is an Instagrammers dream. The food and drinks are very Instagram able and would make anyone’s feed super colorful. But there was nothing that really is making me want to go back. The experience wasn’t anything exciting and the food was below par, and the drink was great, but I can easily have my bar back in my hometown make it for me. So, go for the pictures but nothing else.
