Chloe Miller

I met Chloe Miller through the Campus Trendsetters Program and was instantly taken away with how kind and genuine she was and her perfectly aesthetic Instagram and website. I hope after reading this you fall in love with her as much as I have!

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your work?
I am a beauty, lifestyle, and fashion blogger based in LA. I am a student at the University of Southern California (USC) and have been a content creator for 3 years now on Instagram (@chloetessmiller), and have my site (bychloetess.com) where I publish fashion and beauty content and sell my presets. I also recently launched a course called "Micro-Influencing 101" where I teach aspiring micro-influencers about my journey and how to foster an online community with high audience engagement.

What is your biggest passion in life and how do you incoroporate this into your work?
I am super passionate about women's issues and feel it is important for us to look at the influencer industry as something that is legitimate and professional. Oftentimes the industry is not given the respect it deserves because it is one of few billion dollar female-led industries.

How do you take care of your mental and physical health?
NAPS. And say no to things you don't feel like doing!

How do you keep yourself organized as a person who wears many hats in their life?
Planners and making a timed schedule/blocked schedule of each day. Setting small goals for the day or week to hopefully achieve larger goals in the future.

What are some things you think are important for people in their early twenty's to learn?
You are only in competition with yourself! Imposter syndrome is so real but you are capable and impressive when you work to better yourself from yesterday. The success of anyone you're comparing yourself to does not matter.

What do you define success and prospertiy as in your life?
Being excited and grateful for tomorrow :)

How would you rank the following three: family, career, love life?
family, love life, career

What legacy do you want to leave behind?
someone who is kind and helpful to others. someone who doesn't back down from my beliefs and passions, but is open to learning and changing perspective.

What characteristics/traits do you pride yourself the most for having?
loyalty, empathy, passion
